Tamara Leever

At a very young age, Tamara learned about business ownership and being an entrepreneur.  Her mom taught her about product distribution, marketing and gross revenue versus net profits all by having a lemonade stand at the annual family yard sale.  It’s amazing if you utilize something as little as that and attach it to valuable life lessons, how powerful it can be.  Lessons of business ownership through family experiences continued with a combination of owning vending machines, selling salt remover to commercial business owners, selling Avon products, owning SF rental properties and owning & running a family party store business called Lake Breeze Party Store which Tamara named at age 6.  Although at the time, her parents thought they were running these businesses to solely provide for their family, which they were, however; at the same time they were instilling teamwork, hard work ethic, sacrifice, financial tools and more… to their children.

Tamara elected to continue learning about business and finance by attending a combination of Macomb Community College and Walsh College of Business, local schools in the Michigan area where she grew up and resides today.  Tamara holds Associate degrees in General Studies major in Business and Business Administration major in Business Management and a Bachelors of Business Administration major in Finance.

Tamara has been involved in the real estate industry for 25 years.  She is a licensed real estate broker, licensed builder and has held her mortgage brokers license with experience in both residential and commercial financing.  She also has been actively investing in real estate, SFH fix & flips, MF/CRE ownership & management and MF value add projects.  In the most recent years the primary focus of real estate has encompassed solely investment and commercial real estate.  Representing business owners, buyers & sellers, investors and teams of investors to bring their real estate goals to fruition.

Tamara is currently involved in a 68 Unit MF JV located suburbs of Metropolitan Detroit, MI, a12,000 sq. ft. Office/Medical Building Owner, located Saginaw, MI and 2 STRs JV located in Gainsville, FL.

Tamara is on the board and serves as Treasurer for a local non-profit tutoring center.  She helps raise donations to be able to offer tutoring services to kids in need. She has also served as an investor panelist whenever she has the opportunity to share her knowledge of the real estate industry to those that want to learn about investing.

During the cleanup days of Spring Tamara has volunteered in the community to clean up the local parks, and to coach the girls 5th & 6th grade volleyball team.  Her goal was to coach the girls, however; the larger goal was to instill in the girls that you never lose a game as long as you won the game and/or learned from it.

Tamara is a wife, mother, dog mom, identical twin and loves to spend time with her family and friends.  She is married to Eric, whom she met over 20 years ago over a real estate transaction (she sold him a house) and have been married for 17 years.  Tamra likes to say “Real Estate” has been very good to her.  They have a beautiful daughter who loves and plays volleyball, softball & golf and is an avid snowboarder.  And if you can’t find them at one of their properties or looking at properties, you’ll find them watching and cheering on their daughter as her #1 fan.

Her hobbies include spending time with friends, traveling, taking walks through nature, biking, and cooking & baking.  She is known for whipping up dinners with whatever ingredients are on hand.

Tamara’s mission is to educate and spread the word of real estate investing to all, especially those that believe it’s unobtainable for them and to provide financial literacy to elementary age children.
